What is the Nubian Renaissance Network?
The Nu Renaissance Network is a bold and innovative idea that seeks to bring Black and Brown content creators, "woke folk" of all kinds, business owners, artists, specialists, and social entrepreneurs into one collaborative space. Support of our brands and initiatives is no longer an option, but a duty.
Nu Renaissance, it's a movement.
The following is a breakdown of each featured section found in the NuRenN app.
Nu Events
This section showcases upcoming events. You can share and add events you are interested in to your personal calendar with just a click of a button. This section is your ultimate plug!
*That's Dope
Visit this section whenever you want to discover new talent within the network. Each month we will spotlight the work of up and coming content creators and artists alike.
*Brand Nu
Nubian Stylez is all about class and originality. Unique style brands, tutorials, and fashion trends (for us, by us) will be featured here.
*Nu Dining
Ever wondered if there were any quality black-owned restaurants in your area to support? Well look no further. The Nubian Restaurants section is all about plugging you into the best black-owned spots in your town.
*Nu Live Feed
The Nu Renaissance Live feed is a streaming feature on the app that pulls pics/vids from various social networks that have the hashtags #nurenaissance #nurenn.
*Nu Media
Nubian Media is about sharing classic, insightful and rare content/footage. From documentaries to interviews, this section is meant to inform and to enlighten. This is also a space to push new and original content as well.
*Woke Folk
Woke Folk is a section that brings back the chat room experience (via Rumble Talk). This space is designed to discuss big ideas, social issues, as well as to simply build with one another. Positive vibes only.
Nu DM
Can you say, "DM?" As you meet different content creators, entrepreneurs, and just overall dope, positive people, our hope is that you use this space to network and connect.
Users
The users section simply let's you know who's logged in and if there are any users nearby. By clicking on the user, you can send a message and browse whatever social media they may have linked to their profile page.
Initiatives
This section is designed to connect you with any non-profit initiative that in some way, shape or form, serves our community.
Nu Submissions
If you would like to post your own personal content to our platform just submit your media here. We will review once content is submitted. Upon approval, your content will become a part of the Nu Renaissance Network for a limited time.
Nu Companies
If you have a small business you would like us to check out and maybe feature in our app, submit the necessary info in this section.
